Hartford Juvenile Court – Juvenile Matters

The Hartford Juvenile Court is open under limited hours Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. See hours of operations here. This Hartford court is located on Broad St and is handling arraignments. Arraignments are being handled virtually to protect both parties. While Judges are in the building, offenders are attending their arrangement virtually to prevent further spread of the virus.

Please Note: Hartford Juvenile Detention Center

The Hartford Juvenile Detention Center is not accepting offenders until further notice due to an earlier positive case of COVID-19 at the facility. All juvenile offenders arrested and being held on bail are being sent to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center. It seems the transportation of juvenile offenders to the Bridgeport center during this time is a Harford police task.

Hartford Superior Court GA-14

This Court is one of the two open in Hartford County, Connecticut. The GA-14 Hartford Superior Court is currently operating under limited hours and is closed every Tuesday and Thursday following the state’s efforts to protect the staff and the public. The Hartford Superior Court is now providing non-priority level 1 functions through a drop-box placed at the court’s entrance. See the official announcement about extended services.
